Win #26

Weekend Recap, this 26 team achieved win #26! Friday night team RFR competed at Attica Raceway Park for the mid season championship. Went out in qualifying group 1 and set quick time. Started 4th in heat one and finished 2nd. Lined up in the 8th position for the feature. At the drop of the green Jamie shot to the very top of turns 1&2 advancing him to the 3rd position. By lap 2 he was going for the lead & lap 3 he had it! The old Maxim was on a rail as Jamie cruised to capture win #26 for this RFR team.
Saturday we rolled into Fremont Speedway with a new car, new look, and a lot of confidence! We hit the track in qualifying with high hopes for this new car and she didn’t disappoint as we once again set quick time! Started 4th in the heat race and finished 2nd. Redrew a 3rd starting spot for the Amain event. We missed the setup a little but still had a good car. Jamie hung around his starting spot most of the race. Until the racing got a little to tight with 3 laps to go and we got spun out. Unfortunately Finished 17th which doesn’t show just how good this car really was.
Jamie rebounded in the dirt truck feature to lead every lap and get his first truck win of the season and Tim Bakers first win as an owner!
Thank you to everyone that has made this possible.
