The RFR 26 competed at Attica Raceway Park on Friday night. We qualified 3rd fastest in our group, which put us starting P2 in the heat race.
At the drop of the green Jamie took off and ran away for the heat race win. At the redraw we drew the deuce.
Starting outside front row had this RFR team giddy with excitement. Right from the start Jamie was ripping the cushion like an expert.
On lap 9 he entered lap traffic and the 2nd place car closed in. Rather than force the issue Jamie allowed him by & let the traffic spread out.
Once the lanes opened up Jamie took off working the high lines to perfection and regained the lead. A few late race cautions gave others hope, but when it counted most the 26 was shot out of a cannon and flew to the checkers.
